Intellectual Property Specialist

Dante Personnel is seeking an experienced Intellectual Property Associate to join their team. The ideal candidate will have a law degree from a reputable university, be an admitted attorney in South Africa in good standing with the LPC, and be a fellow of the South African Institute of Intellectual Property Law. They will also have at least 3 years of relevant experience in a mid-level role, with a proven track record of successfully managing IP dispute work, including drafting letters of demand, filing and managing trade mark oppositions, and handling foreign dispute matters with correspondent attorneys. The successful candidate will be responsible for attending to advisory work in relation to trade marks, copyright, domain names, company name objections, and watching services.
