About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled SOLIDWORKS PDM Consultant to join our team at People Dimension. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering SOLIDWORKS PDM based solutions to our customers, ensuring timely and budget-friendly results while maintaining the highest levels of customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Provide technical support to customers on SOLIDWORKS PDM and its associated infrastructure, troubleshooting and finding optimal solutions via phone, email, or collaborative internet support services.
  2. Contribute to the creation and delivery of online content, including blogs, technical documents, and webcasts.
  3. Develop and deliver training sessions for customers on the use and administration of SOLIDWORKS PDM products.
  4. Perform additional duties and tasks as required by your senior PDM specialist.
Requirements
  • Hold a higher-level qualification in Mechanical Engineering or a relevant technical field, or demonstrate suitable previous experience.
  • Have experience in CAD, preferably SOLIDWORKS but not limited to.
  • Possess excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, and be a good listener.
  • Display strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Have basic knowledge of PC hardware concepts, technology, and installation, as well as basic PC troubleshooting skills.
  • Be capable of working independently and as part of a team.
  • Adhere to the company's values.
Desirable Skills
  • Experience in writing VB scripts.
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server installation, configuration, and administration.
  • SQL skills, including the ability to write custom queries of medium complexity, and moderate administration skills for SQL Server.
  • Knowledge of multiple operating systems, architectures, and networks.
