We are looking for an experienced Instrumentation Project Coordinator to join our team at our mine in the Northern Cape. The successful candidate will have a strong background in instrumentation and control systems, as well as excellent communication and project management skills.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Assist in the planning, organization, direction, management, coordination, and implementation of control & instrumentation related aspects of all Project Packages.
  • Collaborate with business partners to resolve day-to-day engineering/site-related issues.
  • Support project coordinators in monitoring project tasks and schedules to ensure compliance with the plan.
  • Assist in tracking project performance, analyzing key risks, and highlighting them in advance.
  • Conduct quantity certification & quality checks.
  • Ensure project completion within time & budget.

Desired Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Electrical/Instrumentation Engineering.
  • Minimum 5-7 years of relevant experience.
  • Proven working experience in project execution through EPC/Construction partners.
  • Sound knowledge of MCC, PLC, DCS, SCADA, etc.
  • Experience in erection and commissioning of Green/Brown field projects from concept stages, tender preparation & bid adjudication, review of detailed engineering design, to project handover to the operation team.
  • Good working knowledge of the Mine Health and Safety Act and Environmental Management principles, practices, and statutory requirements.
