Sci Tech Placements is seeking a skilled Refrigeration Technician to join our team. As a Refrigeration Technician, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing refrigeration systems in various settings.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install new refrigeration systems and ensure they meet industry standards and regulations.
- Inspect and troubleshoot refrigeration systems to identify and resolve issues.
- Perform routine maintenance tasks to ensure optimal system performance.
- Repair or replace faulty or worn-out components to prevent system downtime.
- Test each system after service or installation to ensure it operates correctly.
- Provide cost estimates for repair and installation tasks to clients.
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or equivalent; further education in HVAC or a related field is preferred.
- Proven experience as a Refrigeration Technician, with a strong understanding of refrigeration systems and their components.
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently.
- Physical stamina to lift heavy equipment and tools.
- Valid driver's license, with a reliable vehicle for travel to client sites.
