Job Description:
As an English Teacher at SPARK Schools, you will play a vital role in driving student achievement by maintaining high expectations for classroom culture, behaviour, and academic growth. You will be responsible for planning and delivering lessons in English, Social Science, and Personal and Social Well-being, collaborating with colleagues to develop rigorous and engaging learning experiences.
You will lead weekly SEL circles, implement SPARK Schools' Social Emotional Learning curriculum, and use SPARK culture to manage behaviour effectively. Additionally, you will administer and mark assessments, track student progress, and analyse data to inform instructional decisions.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) degree or Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE)
- Certification from the South African Council of Educators (SACE)
- South African Qualifications Authority (SAQA) accreditation for non-South African equivalent qualifications
- A clean criminal record
Experience: Recently qualified teachers or experienced educators are encouraged to apply.
