Job Summary

Hire Resolve is seeking a skilled and motivated Technical Broker to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the successful placement of insurance and reinsurance contracts, while providing technical expertise and market insights.

Key Responsibilities
  • Analyze clients' insurance needs and develop appropriate risk solutions to mitigate potential losses.
  • Negotiate and place insurance and reinsurance contracts with various markets to ensure optimal coverage and pricing.
  • Provide technical expertise in underwriting processes, policy terms, and coverage issues to ensure accurate risk assessment and mitigation.
  • Monitor and manage existing accounts to ensure ongoing client satisfaction and retention.
  • Stay informed about market trends, regulatory changes, and emerging risks to provide valuable insights to clients.
  • Prepare and present reports and recommendations to clients to support informed decision-making.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless service delivery and exceptional client experience.
Requirements
  • Degree in Finance, Business, Insurance, or a related field to demonstrate a strong foundation in risk management and insurance principles.
  • 3+ years of experience in a brokerage or insurance environment to showcase expertise in insurance placement and risk management.
  • Strong knowledge of short-term insurance products and market trends to provide valuable insights to clients.
  • Excellent negotiation and communication skills to build strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.
  • Ability to analyze data and provide actionable insights to support informed decision-making.
  • A deep understanding of risk management principles to develop effective risk solutions.
  • Professional certifications (e.g., ACII, CPCU) are an advantage to demonstrate expertise in insurance and risk management.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite to effectively manage and analyze data.
