Geologist Specialist

Job Title: Geologist Specialist

The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating, analyzing and reporting to the Chief Operating Officer. This role requires a strong organizational and planning skillset as well as excellent communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:
• Coordinate and analyze data related to geological modeling and basin analysis.
• Develop and implement strategies for improving project management and contract administration.
• Conduct fieldwork and travel within the Gauteng region and surrounding areas.

Requirements:
• BSc Honours Degree in Geology or Geoscience
• Proven experience as a Geologist with 5-10 years of mining and exploration experience
• Familiarity with various geological techniques such as mining, boring and numerical modeling
• Experience using geology software (e.g. ArcGIS, Surpac) and other data and modeling tools
• Knowledge of the MPRDA and NEMA regulations
• Ability to handle and analyze data and 3D models
• Strong analytical mind and attention to detail
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Estimate Salary: R850,000 - R1,200,000 per annum depending on experience.
