Job Description

In this role, you will be responsible for managing the strategic direction and delivery of the credit function for a specific portfolio.

Key Accountabilities
  1. Ensure the development and implementation of a fit-for-purpose credit strategy framework for the identified sector or product in Relationship Banking.
  2. Oversee the management of credit strategies across the product life cycle, including acquisition, authorizations, portfolio credit limit management, re-issues, high-risk exposure management, collections, and recoveries.
  3. Lead the analysis and interpretation of detailed reports on trends, discrepancies, and inconsistencies.
  4. Design and implement tactical strategies and associated policies within multiple practices.
Requirements
  1. Chartered Accountant (CA(SA)), or Desired Post Graduate Degree (NQF level no.8+).
  2. 8 - 10 years' experience in a similar environment, with 3 - 4 years at senior management level.
  3. Bachelor's Degrees and Advanced Diplomas: Business, Commerce, and Management Studies (Required).
