Job Title: Pattern Designer

At TFG Design Centre, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Pattern Designer to join our team. As a Pattern Designer, you will play a crucial role in creating high-quality patterns for our garments, ensuring accurate interpretation, proportion, and fit.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Create patterns on computer using Lectra and available references
  • Liaise with designers on requirements and specifications
  • Communicate with sample room teams on pattern requirements and deadlines
  • Measure garments to ensure accurate pattern creation
  • Grade patterns to ensure consistency and quality
  • Attend fit sessions with designers to ensure pattern accuracy
  • Liaise with retail technologists on pattern requirements and specifications
  • Handle queries and issues from factories and suppliers
Requirements:
  • Proven competency in pattern making with 3-5 years of experience
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • High degree of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Good planning and organizing skills with ability to prioritize tasks
  • Reliability and hard work ethic
  • Ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines
  • Team player with ability to work collaboratively
  • Experience on Lectra windows system is advantageous
  • Ability to grade patterns is advantageous
