Sales Development Specialist

About the Role
As a Sales Development Specialist at Assupol Life Ltd., you will be responsible for selling policies, recruiting, developing, and training representatives to achieve set targets. Your long-term goal is to be developed into a Sales Manager when vacancies become available.
Key Responsibilities
- Sell policies to meet or exceed sales targets
- Recruit, develop, and train representatives to improve their sales performance
- Cross-sell and upsell existing customers to increase revenue
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and product knowledge to provide excellent customer service
Requirements
To succeed in this role, you should have a Matric qualification and a relevant Full Qualification as per the FSCA Board Notice. You must also be registered as an Employee Representative (FSCA) and hold Regulatory Examination Level 1: Representatives (RE5) and Level 1: Key Individuals (RE1) certifications. Additionally, you should have 2 years of experience in the insurance industry and be familiar with Category A, B1, B2, C, and Retail Benefits products.
