Job Description
We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Business Developer / Business Development Manager who can close deals and sell both software solutions and management consulting services. This role focuses on generating new business opportunities, developing relationships with potential clients and selling a broad range of Rocvest's services. The ideal candidate should be a "hunter" with strong interpersonal communication and negotiation skills, able to articulate complex solutions in a clear and compelling manner.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead Generation: Proactively identify and qualify new business opportunities through market research, networking, and outreach efforts.
- Sales Activities: Lead efforts to close sales by presenting Rocvest's services, negotiating deals, and driving revenue growth.
- Client Engagement: Establish and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers, understanding their business needs and offering customised solutions across Rocvest's service offerings.
- Proposal and Solution Development: Develop and present compelling proposals, demonstrating how Rocvest's services in Digital Transformation, Governance, Risk & Compliance, Cybersecurity, Data & AI, and other areas can help clients meet their objectives.
- Sales Strategy: Implement and execute a sales strategy targeting key industries and clients, focusing on expanding business across Rocvest's service portfolio.
- Market Research: Stay informed on industry trends, emerging technologies and competitors to develop strategic sales approaches and identify opportunities for new business.
- Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams to align on client needs, solutions and delivery timelines to ensure successful implementation of services.
- RFQs, RFPs, and Tenders: Manage the preparation and submission of RFQs, RFPs and tenders for both the private and government sectors.
- Sales Support: Assist in the creation of sales collateral, presentations and documentation to support business development efforts and clearly communicate Rocvest's capabilities.
- Feedback Collection: Gather client feedback and insights to inform service improvements and ensure that our offerings continue to meet client needs.
- Reporting: Track and report on sales metrics, client interactions and progress toward sales targets, providing regular updates to leadership.
- Customer Engagement: Engage with clients after sales to ensure satisfaction, address any concerns, and explore opportunities for additional services or future projects.
