Job Title: Daycare Worker

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Daycare Worker to join our team at Newfort Specialised Unity. As a key member of our childcare team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and education to our young clients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide exceptional care and support to children, including setting schedules and routines, grooming, feeding, and cleaning rooms and toys.
  • Develop and implement engaging age-appropriate learning and socialization activities to promote children's cognitive, emotional, and social development.
  • Maintain a safe and healthy environment by monitoring children for health, behavioral, and emotional issues and reporting concerns to staff and parents.
  • Collaborate with parents to establish and achieve educational and behavioral goals for each child.
  • Assist with daily tasks such as meal preparation, laundry, and cleaning.
Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Exceptional communication, teaching, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to pass a background check and provide a record of immunizations.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Strong understanding of childhood development stages.
  • Decisiveness, patience, and stamina to care for children.
