  • Oversee daily administrative functions, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in claims processing, data management, and contributions.
  • Ensure compliance with Pension Fund Rules, the Pension Funds Act, and other relevant legislation.
  • Provide expert advice on fund rules and benefit allocations, including Section 37 (C) death benefit distribution.
  • Lead process improvement initiatives to enhance workflow and operational efficiency.
  • Manage stakeholder relationships and address escalated queries with professionalism.
  • Oversee departmental performance, ensuring adherence to KPIs and SLAs.
  • Support strategic decision-making by contributing insights and reports on operational performance.
  • Lead and develop a high-performing team, ensuring employee motivation and performance alignment with organisational goals.
Requirements
  • Holds a relevant Bachelor's Degree (NQF Level 7) and professional registration where applicable.
  • Has at least 6 years of job-related experience, with a minimum of 2 years in a management role (preferably within pension administration).
  • Possesses strong knowledge of benefit administration, member data management, and pension fund regulations.
  • Has a working understanding of the Income Tax Act, Divorce Act, Pension Funds Act, and related legislation.
  • Is analytical, detail-oriented, and skilled in planning and administration.
