Financial Strategist

We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Manager to join our team at The Wright Recruitment. As a senior member of our finance department, you will be responsible for providing strategic financial guidance to the organization, driving business growth and profitability.

• Provide strategic financial guidance to the organization, identifying opportunities for improvement and cost savings.
• Develop and implement financial strategies that align with the company's overall business objectives.
• Manage the full finance function, including finance administration and receptionist.
• Oversee the implementation and maintenance of the financial reporting system, which includes accounts payable & receivable and cash management.
• Develop and manage investment activities, ensuring a cash management system is in place.
• Prepare monthly management accounts and annual budgets, presenting them to stakeholders.

This role requires strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines. Experience with Syspro and a keen eye for detail are essential.

• Minimum 8 years' experience in cost and financial accounting, with a good knowledge of general accounting principles.
• Degree in CIMA or CA (SA) and 3 years in Articles.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and train staff.
• Strong computer literacy, especially MS Excel.
• Experience in standard accounting packages in a manufacturing environment (e.g., SAP, Syspro).
