About the Role:

The General Building Handyman will be responsible for performing a range of maintenance tasks to ensure the smooth operation of our facilities. This includes but is not limited to, repairs, replacements, and installations of various equipment and systems.

Main Tasks:

  1. Preventive Maintenance: Perform regular checks and maintenance on all equipment to prevent breakdowns and ensure efficient operation
  2. Emergency Response: Respond promptly to emergency situations and perform necessary repairs to minimize downtime
  3. Planned Maintenance: Carry out scheduled maintenance tasks to maintain equipment and extend its lifespan
  4. Office Moves: Assist with office relocations, including furniture installation, cable management, and other related tasks

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • N3 Technical (Electrical/Mechanical)
  • Matric (Senior Certificate)
  • Valid SA Drivers License
  • 3yrs relevant experience in Handyman maintenance tasks
  • Basic training on hand tools, electrical and mechanical equipment
  • Knowledge of OHS Act & ISO 9001 Quality Management Systems
