  • Negotiation: Provide the key account with exclusive deals that offer better value and positioning compared to competitors on other marketplaces.
  • Relationship Building: Build and maintain strong, trust-based relationships with key account stakeholders.

Process Improvement:
  • Ownership: Take full ownership of product opportunity and trading activities, demonstrating accountability for results.
  • Process Enhancement: Identify and implement process improvements to accelerate time-to-market for new products.

Qualifications and Experience:
  • Commercial Experience: 3+ years of experience in product trading, sourcing, or category management (homeware or consumer goods experience preferred).
  • Analytical Skills: Proven ability to identify product opportunities and negotiate deals with suppliers and key accounts.
  • Technical Skills: Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets (reporting and data analysis).
  • Supplier Sourcing: Experience with supplier sourcing (especially in China) and marketplace platforms (Takealot, Amazon, etc.).
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
