Role Overview

We are seeking a highly analytical Technical Analyst to join our Optimisation, Operations & Maintenance (OOM) team. As a key member, you will play a critical role in driving performance improvement in our renewable energy assets.

Your primary responsibilities will include collecting, cleaning and storing generator data on a daily basis, analysing data to track plant performance and identifying optimisation opportunities, as well as creating energy forecasts for the Trading team.

You will also collaborate with on-site contractors to resolve technical issues, consolidate and distil results for informed decision-making, utilise software tools to analyse and communicate data, and work closely with the NOA Trading team to identify new opportunities for wheeled energy solutions.

To succeed in this role, you will require a BEng or BTech degree in any field, 3-5 years of relevant working experience, and strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Experience with utility-scale solar PV, BESS and wind farm data analysis or modelling will be advantageous.

In addition, you will need to possess proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel, and programming skills (Python or similar), as well as excellent communication and presentation skills. Ability to plan, prioritise and self-organise will also be essential.
