About the Role:

  1. This is an exceptional opportunity for a highly experienced Cybersecurity Leader to join our team as the Chief Information Security Officer for the Business Unit. As a key member of our Global Information Security group, you will play a pivotal role in protecting our clients' sensitive information and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
  2. You will be responsible for developing and implementing comprehensive information security strategies, aligning with our Client's Information Security strategy and plan, and ensuring the effective execution of security projects.
  3. A key aspect of this role will be facilitating risk assessment and risk management processes, working closely with business unit leaders to identify and mitigate potential risks, and maintaining a thorough understanding of current security deviations, open assessment and audit findings, and vulnerabilities in our Client's security posture.
  4. You will also provide leadership, oversight, and performance management to the organization's geographically distributed information security department, including coaching and motivation for high performance.
  5. Maintaining accountability for the Information Security budget in the region and facilitating certifications, as necessary and determined by the business or Global Information Security, for SSAE 18, PCI DSS, and ISO are additional responsibilities.
  6. Partnering with business stakeholders across the company to raise awareness of risk management concerns and driving their resolution is also a key responsibility.
  7. You will work within the project and resource prioritization process to ensure security projects and efforts are represented, prioritized, and executed.
  8. On a regular basis, you will report status of security posture and progress against objectives to senior management in Global Information Security and regional IT.
  9. Mobilizing and supporting regional responses to threats and incident investigations in an effective and timely manner is critical.
  10. You will maintain and test incident response process and ensure its continued integration with regional and global escalation protocols in conjunction and coordination with Global Information Security.
  11. Overseeing the completion of security audits by customers and data providers and preparing and contributing to periodic communication and presentations to local business and functional leaders regarding regional security posture and direction are also essential responsibilities.
  12. You will complete annual planning process through ownership and accountability for BU plans for Information Security that align with global strategy but reflect nuances of local needs, where appropriate.
  13. Assisting with the overall business technology planning, providing a current knowledge and future vision of technology and systems, is another key responsibility.
