Job Title: Refrigeration Technician

Job Summary:

The Refrigeration Technician will be responsible for the maintenance and repair of refrigeration equipment, ensuring that all systems are functioning efficiently and effectively. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of refrigeration principles and be able to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and repair refrigeration equipment, including compressors, condensers, and evaporators
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as cleaning and lubricating equipment
  • Conduct troubleshooting and diagnostic tests to identify and resolve issues
  • Collaborate with other teams to ensure seamless operation of refrigeration systems
  • Develop and implement procedures to improve efficiency and reduce downtime

Requirements:

  • Matric certification
  • Refrigeration qualification with Trade Test
  • Valid driver's license
  • 1-2 years of customer service experience
  • 1-2 years of refrigeration experience
  • Gas handling license

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Excellent knowledge of refrigeration equipment and principles
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
