Key Responsibilities:
  • Attend requirement and proposal discussions with clients to ensure accurate understanding of project needs.
  • Derive technical specifications for system requirements based on market and/or customer needs.
  • Research, develop, and test theoretical and conceptual designs to ensure product reliability and consistency.
  • Derive component requirements for the electronic design using traceable and qualified components.
  • Simulate and test the design at various levels to ensure adequate design margins and reliable performance in specified operational environments.
  • Document and review all aspects of the design phases to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  • Design and develop embedded firmware for micro-controller and FPGA-based applications.
  • Test the hardware and firmware, and implement corrections as necessary.
  • Interact with sub-contractors and resolve manufacturing issues to ensure timely delivery.
  • Develop production documentation to support manufacturing and quality control processes.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Electronic Engineering from a recognized institution.
  • At least 7 years of experience in high-reliability electronic product design and realization.
  • Proven expertise in analog and digital electronic circuit design and simulation.
  • Practical experience testing and debugging electronic circuits.
Desirable Skills:
  • Master's degree in Electronic Engineering or related field.
  • Proficiency in software development using Python, C, or C++.
  • Experience working with Optical/Optomechanical systems.
  • Electromagnetic design and analysis expertise.
  • FPGA development experience using VHDL.
  • Familiarity with microcontroller architectures.
  • Schematic creation and PCB layout skills using Altium Designer.
  • CAD software and design principles knowledge.
  • Project Management skills using MSProject or other tools.
  • Experience designing, developing, and supporting satellite actuator and/or sensor subsystems.
