As an SCM / Ariba Downstream Specialist at Open Source (Pty) Ltd, you will play a vital role in optimizing our procurement processes. With a strong background in Ariba Network and Guided Buying, you will be responsible for managing and enhancing downstream Supply Chain Management (SCM) workflows to ensure seamless operations.

The ideal candidate will have expertise in Ariba Network and Guided Buying, as well as strong knowledge of RFQ processes and S/4HANA systems. Proficiency in Materials Management (MM) and SCM modules is also essential. In addition, the ability to work effectively in a remote environment is crucial.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ariba Network and Guided Buying Optimization: Manage and optimize Ariba Network and Guided Buying functionalities to improve procurement efficiency and effectiveness.
  • RFQ Process Management: Handle RFQ processes and integrate with S/4HANA systems to ensure seamless procurement operations.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including MM and SCM, to enhance downstream SCM workflows and ensure effective communication.

Required Skills and Experience:

  • Ariba Expertise: Expertise in Ariba Network and Guided Buying, including setup, configuration, and optimization.
  • RFQ Process Knowledge: Strong knowledge of RFQ processes and S/4HANA systems, including integration and implementation.
  • Materials Management and SCM Modules: Proficiency in MM and SCM modules, including setup, configuration, and optimization.
  • Remote Work Environment: Ability to work effectively in a remote environment, including collaboration and communication with cross-functional teams.
