Electrical Systems Engineer

Soulify is seeking a highly skilled Electrical Instrumentation and Control Engineer to join their team in Centurion. The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of experience in electrical systems, control, and instrumentation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee project execution and develop electrical and control system designs for EPC and EPCM projects.
  • Collaborate with Process and Electrical departments for equipment sizing and system alignment.
  • Ensure compliance with international engineering standards, codes, and practices.
  • Prepare, review, and coordinate electrical and control system documentation.
  • Provide technical guidance and leadership on instrumentation and control system designs.
  • Participate in design meetings, review supplier documentation, and conduct site inspections.
  • Assist with plant installation, commissioning, and addressing technical queries.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or a similar relevant degree.
  • Registration with ECSA as a Professional or Candidate Engineer would be advantageous.
  • Experience with electrical control, instrumentation, and programming.
  • 3-5 years of experience overseeing project execution.
  • Proficiency in multidisciplinary areas, including electrical control and programming.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a willingness to mentor colleagues.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • A hands-on approach with the ability to handle technical queries and collaborate with various teams.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience in instrumentation and control engineering, specifically within industrial processes.
  • Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary environment.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to meet deadlines and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
