Job SummaryWe're seeking a Clinical Nurse Consultant - Occupational Health to join our team. As a key member of our healthcare team, you'll be responsible for developing and implementing occupational health programs, conducting medical surveillance and assessments, and providing training and education to employees.
Responsibilities- Program Development: Develop and implement effective occupational health programs to promote employee well-being and prevent workplace injuries and illnesses.
- Medical Surveillance: Conduct regular medical surveillance and assessments to identify potential health risks and develop strategies to mitigate them.
- Training and Education: Provide training and education to employees on occupational health and wellness best practices, as well as provide guidance on workplace safety and health protocols.
- Communication: Communicate effectively with employees, management, and other stakeholders to ensure that occupational health and wellness initiatives are aligned with organizational goals and objectives.
Diploma or Degree in Nursing Science with an additional qualification in Occupational Health Nursing, relevant licensing, 3-4 years experience in hospitals and onsite clinics, and professional membership in South African Nursing Council (SANC), Registered Nurses and Midwives.
