About the Role
This position supports the business unit in all human capital matters, including implementing human capital plans and programmes that support talent management within the business unit. The role requires operating between business and human capital, focusing on meeting business unit people needs while ensuring compliance with regulations and adherence to Sanlam's HC policies and processes.

Main Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
  1. Supporting the business unit in human capital matters.
  2. Implementing human capital plans and programmes.
  3. Operating between business and human capital.
  4. Ensuring compliance with regulations.

Required Skills and Qualifications
To excel in this role, you will need a degree in Human Resource Management or a related field with at least 5 years of experience in human capital generalist roles. Labour Law/LLB post-graduate qualification is advantageous. Key skills and qualifications include:
  • Tactical level knowledge and experience in core areas.
  • Sound experience in human capital generalist roles in a corporate environment.
  • Proven experience as a change agent and/or supporting transformation initiatives.
  • Reasonable understanding and relevant experience with local regulations and labour legislation.
