Job Title: Project Execution Manager (Mechanical)

We are seeking a seasoned Project Execution Manager (Mechanical) to join our dynamic Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) team at Job Masters Pty Ltd. As a Project Execution Manager (Mechanical), you will oversee the successful execution of mechanical projects from start to finish, ensuring timely completion, quality, and safety standards are met.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversight of mechanical projects from conception to completion.
  • Development and implementation of project plans, schedules, and budgets.
  • Coordination with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Monitoring and control of project progress, identifying and mitigating risks.

Project Planning:

  • Develop and implement project plans, schedules, and budgets.
  • Evaluate project plans against business objectives and project requirements.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure alignment and buy-in.

Project Coordination:

  • Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Evaluate project coordination against project plans and requirements.
  • Provide input on project coordination during project meetings.

Risk Management:

  • Identify and mitigate potential project risks.
  • Evaluate risk management against project plans and requirements.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure effective risk management.

Quality Control:

  • Ensure high-quality workmanship and materials throughout the project.
  • Evaluate quality control against project plans and requirements.

Requirements:

  • Professional certification in project management (PMP, PRINCE2, etc.)
  • 5+ years of experience in project management within an EPC environment.
  • Strong knowledge of mechanical engineering principles and practices.
  • Proficiency in project management software and tools (MS Project, Primavera, etc.).
  • Experience with cost estimation and budgeting.
  • Familiarity with engineering standards and codes in South Africa.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
