About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Financial Adviser to join our team at Absa Group. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in providing expert advice and guidance to clients on financial planning, life insurance, and estate planning.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in financial services, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to build strong relationships with clients and colleagues.

Key Accountabilities:

  1. Establish and maintain professional relationships with clients, including those in Everyday Banking.
  2. Assess client financial needs through the use of recommended analysis tools, ensuring full awareness of AIFA's value proposition.
  3. Prepare and present recommendations for risk and investment solutions based on individual client profiles.
  4. Follow all steps in the designated client engagement process as specified by Absa Advisers.
  5. Provide regular feedback to Regional Managers on actions taken to progress leads to business.

Requirements:

  • Further Education and Training Certificate (FETC) in Business, Commerce, and Management Studies or equivalent qualification.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar role, preferably within the financial services industry.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients and colleagues.
  • Demonstrated expertise in financial planning, life insurance, and estate planning.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a focus on delivering exceptional results.
