Occupational Therapist Role

We are seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist to join our team at Vencorp Placements. As a key member of our organization, you will play a vital role in the treatment and support of individuals struggling with addiction and mental health disorders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement effective treatment plans to address patient needs.
  • Conduct regular assessments and evaluations to monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans accordingly.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care and support for patients.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed patient records and documentation.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest research and best practices in addiction treatment and mental health care.

Qualifications:

  • Relevant qualification as Clinical / Counseling Psychologist (Bpsych, Hons, Masters) or Occupational Therapist / Registered Counsellor with valid registration.
  • Proven experience working in a hospital and/or private practice setting.
  • Experience with in-patient settings and rehab/addiction centers.
  • Strong assessment and diagnostic skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
