Job Title: Pharmaceutical Buyer

Emporium is seeking a skilled Pharmaceutical Buyer to join our team. As a key member of our procurement department, you will be responsible for sourcing and purchasing pharmaceutical products to meet our production and sales requirements.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Source and purchase pharmaceutical products from reputable suppliers
  • Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers to ensure timely delivery and competitive pricing
  • Manage inventory levels and ensure that stock is maintained at optimal levels
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that procurement processes are aligned with business objectives
  • Monitor and analyze market trends to identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements
Requirements:
  • Grade 12
  • Purchasing/ Buyer Diploma or higher
  • 3 Year experience as a buyer in a FMCG or pharmaceutical company
  • Experience/ Knowledge of Forex and shipping
  • Computer Literate: MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint
  • Oracle will be an advantage
