We are seeking a skilled and experienced Senior Steel Structures Drafter to join our team at Zecutive Consultants.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for producing high-quality steel structural engineering drawings for commercial buildings, hospitals, data centers, and educational facilities. You will work closely with our multi-disciplinary engineering team and other project stakeholders to ensure seamless project delivery.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Produce concept, tender, and steel structural engineering drawings using CAD and Revit software.
  • Draughting, design, and development support services to our construction team and Structural Department Manager.
  • Work office hours in the northern suburbs of Cape Town.
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A National Diploma or BTech in Structural Engineering.
  • Revit Certification is highly recommended, and a draughting diploma is advantageous.
  • At least 1-2 years of experience in Building Services and 2-4+ years of steel structural modeling (draughting) experience using CAD, with essential knowledge of Revit.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Remuneration Package:

This role offers a negotiable salary package based on qualifications and experience. Our estimate for this position is around R120,000 - R180,000 per annum, depending on your background and qualifications.
