Job Profile

The Cash Flow and Accounts Payable Expert will play a critical role in maintaining the smooth operation of the company's cash flow and accounts payable processes.

Main Responsibilities:

  1. Cash Flow Management: Monitor and manage cash inflows and outflows, ensuring sufficient liquidity to meet business needs.
  2. Accounts Payable: Manage and process accounts payable, ensuring timely payment of invoices and avoiding late fees.
  3. Budgeting and Forecasting: Collaborate with the finance team to develop and maintain budgets and forecasts, ensuring accurate projections and minimizing financial risks.
  4. Reporting and Analysis: Prepare regular reports on cash flow and accounts payable metrics, analyzing trends and providing recommendations for improvement.
  5. Collaboration with Other Teams: Work closely with other departments, such as procurement and logistics, to ensure that all teams are aligned and working towards common goals.

Requirements:

Qualification:

• Matric certificate with Accounting as a subject (essential).

• Credit Management 1–3 qualification (advantageous).

Experience:

• Prior experience working with Gateway and AS400 systems (advantageous).

• Minimum 3 years' experience in a similar role within accounts receivable.

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.

Skills:

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

• High attention to detail and a meticulous approach to work.

• Ability to manage pressure, meet deadlines, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.

• Strong team player with the ability to work independently when needed.
