We're seeking an experienced Engineering Design Expert to join our team. As a key member of our infrastructure development team, you will be responsible for the design and implementation of various civil engineering projects.
Job Overview
The successful candidate will have a strong background in civil engineering with significant experience in the design and implementation of large-scale infrastructure projects. You will work closely with our team to deliver high-quality results that meet the needs of our clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Liaise with team members and contractors to ensure effective project delivery.
- Compile reports and technical specifications to support project development.
- Interact with clients and interface with multi-disciplinary teams to ensure seamless project execution.
Requirements
- Must have a B. Eng or BSc. Eng degree in Civil/Structural Engineering.
- Registration as a Professional Engineer (Pr. Eng) with ECSA is essential.
- 5-6+ years' post-qualification experience in civil engineering is required.
- Demonstrated experience in building services, including the design of bulk earthworks, streets, storm water, water reticulation, and sewer networks, pump stations, etc., for Township developments.
- Proven proficiency in Civil Engineering design packages.
- Strong Word and Excel skills are a must.
- A valid Driver's License and own transport are necessary for frequent site visits.
- Cape Town-based candidates preferred; relocation considered for suitable candidates.
