The Senior Engineer will control professional and technical processes associated with electricity pricing and tariffs, including evaluating options and alternatives related to complex electricity and infrastructure pricing, providing advice on principles and procedures associated with electricity pricing, and applying techniques associated with developing and presenting technical designs for electricity reduction techniques and tariff economics.

Key Performance Indicators:
  • Evaluate and comment on options and alternatives related to planning and delivery of complex electricity and infrastructure pricing
  • Provide advice, information and guidance on principles and procedures associated with complex forms of electricity pricing
  • Apply principles and techniques associated with development and presentation of technical designs for complex forms of electricity reduction techniques and tariff economics

Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor of Science (NQF Level 8) in Electrical or Electronic Engineering
  • Registered with the Engineering Council of South Africa as a Professional Engineer in Electrical or Electronic Engineering
  • Valid motor vehicle driving license
  • 3 Years relevant post qualification experience in the electricity supply industry
