Job Description
Machinist Technicians play a crucial role at Objective Personnel, providing exceptional technical expertise and services to customers. Their primary responsibilities include the repair and servicing of products/equipment, ensuring they are in optimal working condition.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct thorough fault finding, maintenance, and troubleshooting of electrical and mechanical faults.
  • Install products/equipment according to customer requirements, adhering to industry standards.
  • Program products/equipment as needed, ensuring seamless operation.
  • Diagnose errors or technical problems and implement effective solutions.
  • Resolve technical and procedural issues promptly, minimizing downtime.
  • Visit customers regularly to inspect installed products/equipment and provide support as required.
  • Address customer queries and concerns, fostering strong relationships.
  • Participate in callouts and breakdowns, including after-hours situations, to identify and resolve problems efficiently.
  • Assist the Service Controller and Installation Teams with commissioning projects, ensuring smooth project execution.
  • Complete job cards and maintain general upkeep, contributing to a well-organized work environment.
  • Support stock management as needed, ensuring timely delivery of materials.
  • Oversee ongoing projects, prioritizing tasks to meet deadlines.
  • Make ad hoc deliveries of stock as required, demonstrating flexibility.
  • Produce detailed service/installation reports, highlighting key accomplishments and areas for improvement.
  • Keep abreast of technological developments in the industry, applying new knowledge to enhance services.
  • Train and mentor millwright and electrical apprentices, helping them meet their qualification requirements.
