Executive Chef Assistant

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sous Chef to join our team at BGA Recruitment. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for supporting our service-orientated team and contributing to the success of our prestigious golf club.
Key Responsibilities- Plan and prepare food for large events and functions, including banquets and weddings.
- Manage kitchen stock levels, ensuring minimal waste and optimal inventory control.
- Assist in the planning and preparation of menus, including the creation of new dishes and menus.
- Maintain high standards of kitchen hygiene and presentation, including the upkeep of equipment and facilities.
- 5 years' experience in a similar role, preferably in a high-end culinary environment.
- Matric/Diploma or equivalent qualification in Culinary Skills.
- Good computer skills, including proficiency in MS Office and Jonas Club Management Software.
- Ability to work flexible hours and multitask under pressure.
- Valid driver's license and own transportation.
- Professional and organized approach to work.
- Strong team player with excellent communication skills.
- Proactive and able to work independently.
