Our client, Indgro, is a leading manufacturer seeking an experienced Production Line Supervisor to oversee the efficient operation of their production line in Cape Town.
About the Role- Manage and lead a team of production workers, ensuring quality standards are met and productivity targets are achieved.
- Monitor equipment performance and collaborate with maintenance teams to address technical issues.
- Foster open communication between production staff and other departments to facilitate coordination and problem-solving.
- Prepare regular reports on production performance for management review.
- Leadership and Team Management: Directly manage and motivate a diverse team of production workers, providing guidance, coaching, and support to ensure optimal performance.
- Quality Assurance: Enforce safety protocols and regulations, and implement quality control measures to maintain a safe working environment and ensure products meet specifications.
- Process Optimization: Identify areas for process improvement and implement solutions to enhance efficiency, reduce waste, and improve overall productivity.
- Communication: Foster open communication channels between production staff and other departments to facilitate coordination and problem-solving.
- Grade 12 (Twelve) or equivalent qualification.
- Proven experience in a production or manufacturing environment with at least 2 (Two) years in a supervisory role.
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a diverse team.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to addressing challenges.
A competitive market-related salary of R6000 – R8000 per month.
