Senior Employee Benefits Advisor

As an Employee Benefits Consultant at Salt Employee Benefits, you will play a critical role in delivering exceptional service and benefits to our clients. Your primary responsibility will be to manage designated client relationships, ensuring that clients receive seamless support and guidance throughout their journey with us.
Responsibilities- Service and retain major clients assigned to you, developing long-term relationships built on trust and reliability.
- Identify opportunities for enhancements and implement approved changes, ensuring that our services meet the evolving needs of our clients.
- Monitor SLA delivery and manage accordingly, maintaining high standards of quality and performance.
Client Communication
- Communicate effectively with clients, responding promptly to queries and concerns, and providing clear and concise information.
- Treat clients with respect and professionalism, adhering to TCF, POPI, and other applicable legislation.
- Manage delivery and query resolution to avoid complaints and escalations, focusing on proactive issue resolution.
- Exceed client expectations, providing innovative solutions and value-added services that meet their unique needs.
Delivery Efficiency
- Meet regularly with internal and external service providers to stay current and informed, ensuring seamless collaboration and communication.
- Demonstrate cost-effectiveness in servicing clients, identifying opportunities to reduce costs and improve efficiency.
- Ensure prompt and comprehensive resolution to client queries, fostering trust and confidence in our services.
- Submit timely internal and external reporting, escalating issues where necessary to maintain high standards.
Client Experience Enhancement
- Develop and maintain a deep understanding of client needs and preferences, tailoring our services to meet their unique requirements.
- Create an annual planner for each client, outlining key objectives, milestones, and deadlines.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement changes that enhance the client experience.
- Promote a culture of excellence within SALT EB, driving innovation and improvement through continuous learning and development.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Relevant BCom or Bachelor's Degree, MBA preferred.
- 10 years' experience in a similar position, with a strong background in Employee Benefits.
- Certified Financial Planner (NQF Level 5) and other professional education requirements.
- Excellent command of English, with strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as a team member, adapting to changing priorities.
- Solving skills, with a focus on creative problem-solving and effective decision-making.
- The incumbent may not have been previously removed from an office of trust based on misconduct involving dishonesty.
