At Staff Unlimited Recruitment Pty Ltd T/A MPC Recruitment Group EC, we are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Warehouse Inventory Coordinator to join our team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for controlling the movement of stock in and out of the warehouse, ensuring accuracy in stock totals, and maintaining a clean and organized workspace.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Receive and count stock items, accurately recording data in a timely manner
  • Pack and unpack items to be stocked on shelves in stockrooms, warehouses, or storage yards
  • Pick orders according to computer-generated workshop requisitioning picking slips and customer invoices
  • Promptly deliver picked parts to the dispatch hatch/counter/gate, signing off on picking requisitions as responsible picker
  • Assist with daily perpetual stock counts to verify inventories
  • Investigate and resolve discrepancies/errors in stock counts, accurately recording and reporting findings
  • Store items in an orderly and accessible manner in warehouses, supply rooms, storage yards, or other designated areas
  • Mark stock items correctly using appropriate labeling
  • Clean and maintain supplies, tools, equipment, and storage areas to meet ASEC & OHSACT regulations
  • Determine proper storage methods, identification, and stock locations based on turnover, environmental factors, and physical capabilities of facilities
  • Keep records on the use and/or damage of stock or stock handling equipment
  • Examine and inspect stock items for wear or defects, reporting any damage to supervisors/managers
  • Examine and inspect the security of stockrooms/warehouses/storage yards and report any abnormalities to supervisors/managers
  • Ensure quality customer interaction and service, exceeding internal and external customer expectations, and providing prompt and correct communication/feedback
  • Contribute to team/department meetings and development/training initiatives to ensure the Parts Warehouse functions as an efficient resource for the company

Requirements:

  • Minimum qualification of Matric + minimum of 2 years work experience in a Warehouse environment
  • Dedication to service excellence in every aspect of work, with a strong focus on attention to detail and accuracy
  • Excellent communication skills with people at all levels in an organisation, with the ability to converse fluently and comfortably in English, and to read and write English
  • Ability to work with little or no supervision, manage own time, and complete tasks timeously
  • Ability to work according to a set schedule, with enthusiasm, self-motivation, and the ability to use own initiative
  • Ability to work under pressure and receive constructive criticism
  • Maintain a clean and orderly workspace
  • Ability to understand and follow safety measures and precautions
  • Ability to function effectively in a group, add value to the team/environment, and develop constructive and cooperative working relationships with others
