E&D Recruiters is a leading company involved in electronic equipment for geographical information gathering and related Electronic Equipment designs.

The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating the activities of the geophysics department. This includes assisting in undertaking geophysical surveys including survey design, data acquisition, processing and interpretation of AEM.

• Coordination of activities in geophysical department
• Assisting in developing advanced data processing and new tools/software
• Ensuring quality of reporting to clients from a scientific/technical perspective and adhering to deadlines
• Archiving of complete (raw and processed) products in a systematic and documented manner
• Identifying and managing projects
• Providing specialist knowledge and input
• Implementing technology development projects
• Maintaining professional communication with clients, universities and professional organisations

We are seeking an experienced Geophysicist with a degree or higher in Geophysics. The ideal candidate will have in-depth technical expertise in geosciences, particularly geophysical surveys related to exploration activities and projects. Key skills include geophysical data visualisation and presentation techniques, forward and inversion modelling techniques, and excellent technical written and oral communication ability.

The salary for this position is estimated to be around R1,200,000 per annum, commensurate with experience and qualifications. The company offers a competitive benefits package, including medical aid, retirement fund contributions and annual leave.
