We are recruiting for a Life Insurance Underwriter to work within our Insurance & Asset Management division at Standard Bank of South Africa Limited.
The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all medical claims submitted for payment are valid. This involves daily workflow process management, adhering to the Company's laid-down processes.
We require a professional with a strong background in Operations and Service Management, preferably with 5 years' experience in Life Insurance. A minimum of 5 years' experience in Medical Assessing, specifically in handling Disability, Dread Disease, and Death claims, is required. Experience in Hospital and Personal Accident Claims is also essential.
A FAIS Qualification and RE5 certification are mandatory qualifications for this position. Knowledge of Credit Life is an added advantage.
