Job Title: Refrigeration Technician

Job Summary:

The Refrigeration Technician will be responsible for the maintenance and repair of refrigeration equipment, ensuring optimal performance and efficiency. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in refrigeration technology, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and repair refrigeration equipment, including compressors, condensers, and evaporators.
  • Perform routine inspections and troubleshooting to identify and resolve issues.
  • Collaborate with the Operations Supervisor to prioritize tasks and ensure timely completion.
  • Develop and implement maintenance schedules to minimize downtime and optimize equipment performance.
  • Provide excellent customer service and communicate effectively with stakeholders.

Requirements:

  • Matric certification
  • Refrigeration qualification with Trade Test
  • Valid driver's license
  • 12 years of customer service experience
  • 12 years of refrigeration experience
  • Gas handling license

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Excellent knowledge of refrigeration equipment and mechanical principles
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
