Job Purpose:
To provide underwriting assistance to the advisers. The position will focus on personal and commercial lines business.

This role is ideal for an individual who enjoys working with clients, developing strong relationships and providing exceptional customer service while ensuring all policies are accurately issued and managed.

The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, and be proficient in spoken and written English and at least one other official South African language.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Liaise with clients to understand their needs and preferences
  2. Prepare quotations for new and existing clients, taking into account various insurance options and requirements
  3. Issue new policies, renewals, and endorsements, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail
  4. Buid and maintain good working relationships with clients and internal stakeholders
  5. Record details and information on relevant systems, ensuring up-to-date records and compliance

Requirements:
  1. NQF4 or NQF 5 in short-term insurance
  2. Relevant short-term insurance administration experience, knowledge, and skills (personal lines)
  3. Proficient in MS Office, with computer literacy a must
