Requirements:

  • A Matric Certificate (Grade 12)
  • A Fitter and Turner Trade Certificate
  • A clear criminal record
  • Medically fit for shutdown conditions
  • Proficiency in precision measurements and welding

About the Role:

This role requires a high level of skill and expertise in mechanical fitting and turning. As a Shutdown Specialist, you will be working on a temporary project basis to assist with the shutdown of production lines at the FMCG facility. You will be responsible for conducting mechanical repairs and maintenance as required and working collaboratively with other technicians to achieve project objectives.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical fitting and turning, with experience working on shutdown projects. They will also possess excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work well under pressure.
