This is an exciting opportunity to work as a Theatre Unit Manager at our private hospital in Benoni. The successful candidate will have a Post Basic Diploma in Operating Theatre and a minimum of 2 - 4 years' experience as a Unit Manager in Theatre.
Responsibilities
- Coordinating nursing care to ensure compliance with professional and ethical practice.
- Planning and organising staffing including duty hours, time keeping, and leave planning.
- Reviewing and maintaining policy and procedures in line with National Core Standards.
Requirements
- Registration with the South African Nursing Council as a Registered Nurse.
- Post Basic Diploma in Operating Theatre.
- A minimum of 2 - 4 years' experience as Unit Manager in Theatre.
- An intermediate level of computer proficiency.
