Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the payroll process from start to finish, ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
  • Onboard and offboard staff, ensuring a smooth transition and minimal disruption to the business.
  • Perform reconciliations to ensure accuracy and identify any discrepancies.
  • Draft contracts and agreements related to payroll and employee benefits.
  • Capture leave and ensure accurate tracking and reporting.
  • Administer employee benefits, including medical aid, pension fund, and other benefits.
  • Assist with internal audits and ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations.

Requirements:

  • No less than 3 years' experience in HR and payroll, with a strong background in SAGE 300.
  • Must have VIP PREMIER and SAGE 300 PEOPLE experience.
  • Must know how ESS works and have a good understanding of COIDA, Tax, and UIF.
  • Should have a good understanding of the BCEA, NCA, EEA, and other relevant laws and regulations.
  • Valid Matric and HR diploma - completed.
  • Excel - advanced level.
  • Excellent English communication - written and verbal.
  • Empathetic and sympathetic.
  • Deadline driven.
  • Ability to keep information confidential.
  • Trustworthy.
  • Reliable.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Must have a clear criminal and fraud record.
  • Great track record - reference checks will be conducted upfront.
  • Clear credit (ITC).
