We are seeking an experienced Banking Operations Coordinator to join our prestigious family office company. As a key member of the Banking and Investment Support team, this individual will be responsible for maintaining bank and investment accounts, ensuring accurate and timely execution of instructions, and resolving day-to-day queries.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintaining relationships with financial institutions across jurisdictions worldwide.
  • Executing instructions and various administrative tasks around bank account and investment management.
  • Managing E-Banking users lists, handling client onboarding/offboarding, and transferring equities between custodians.

Principal Elements & Accountabilities:

Banking:

  • Ensure the accuracy and completeness of banking information, adding/removing beneficiaries/settlors/protectors or giving power of attorney to third parties.
  • Maintain bank and investment accounts, including opening/closing accounts with core and non-core banks.
  • Collaborate with asset managers and tax consultants to set up client relationships.

Investments:

  • Prepare subscription/redemption instructions for Alternative Investments.
  • Input non-automated investment transactions into integrated database systems.
  • Keep clients' investment accounting up to date, managing corporate actions, proxy votes, conversions, capital calls, and distributions.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • A degree or higher diploma and 5-8 years of experience in the financial industry would be advantageous.
  • STEP qualifications are beneficial, but a good understanding of offshore trusts, companies, and trustee relationships is essential.
  • Team management experience is required.
  • Proficiency in modern financial accounting packages, Word, Excel, Outlook, and Double Entry Bookkeeping.
