Microwave Installation Technician

We are seeking a skilled Microwave Installation Technician to join our team at Voce, a leading provider of MW equipment and installation services across South Africa.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in the installation, maintenance, and repair of microwave radio communication systems, including components like antennas, waveguides, and amplifiers.

The successful candidate will be responsible for troubleshooting and diagnosing issues within the microwave transmission infrastructure to ensure optimal signal strength and network stability.

Key qualifications include:

  • at least 5 years of experience as a MW Technician, including supervising a small team
  • a technical qualification in electronics or a related field
  • a valid driver's license
  • knowledge of safety procedures and OHSAct
  • a current fall arrest certificate

The role requires ability to work unsupervised in remote areas and travel within South Africa for work-related projects. Ability to read basic drawings is essential.
