Technical Excellence

AECOM is seeking a highly skilled Senior Technologist to lead our Railway Civil Design team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for conducting complex civil engineering assignments, planning and managing projects, and making recommendations on alternate solutions to engineering problems.

  • Conduct detailed engineering assignments involving calculations, specifications, sketches, diagrams, and drawings.
  • Develop and implement innovative solutions to complex engineering problems.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to review project deliverables and ensure high-quality outputs.
  • Participate in client meetings to discuss project requirements and explain/defend work.
  • Maintain and develop the highest level of technical skills and abilities to ensure the quality of model production by BIM/CAD teams.
Client Relationship Management

As a Senior Technologist, you will be responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, including participating in client meetings and explaining/defending work.

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients to ensure their needs are met.
  • Communicate effectively with clients to ensure clear understanding of project requirements.
Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need to have a BTech degree and 8+ years of relevant experience after obtaining your qualification. You will also need to be professionally registered as a Technologist or Professional Technician with ECSA.
