Medical Office Coordinator

Profile Personnel is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Receptionist to join their team in East London, Eastern Cape. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills and be able to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment.
About the RoleThis position involves greeting patients warmly and checking them in upon arrival, as well as answering phone calls and scheduling appointments. You will also provide information about services, procedures, and clinic policies, handle patient inquiries, and update and maintain patient records accurately.
Key Responsibilities- Greet patients and check them in upon arrival, ensuring a welcoming and efficient experience.
- Answer phone calls and schedule appointments, utilizing strong communication skills to interact with patients, medical staff, and colleagues.
- Provide information about services, procedures, and clinic policies, demonstrating a thorough understanding of the organization's offerings.
- Handle patient inquiries and resolve issues or escalate them as necessary, showcasing exceptional customer service skills.
- Update and maintain patient records accurately, ensuring up-to-date and secure storage of sensitive information.
- Verify insurance information and process insurance claims, exercising attention to detail and organizational prowess.
- Collect payments, issue receipts, and manage billing inquiries, maintaining a professional demeanor at all times.
- Manage electronic and paper filing systems efficiently, streamlining processes and reducing administrative burdens.
