About the Role

The Senior Actuary will be responsible for setting and maintaining pricing for all product lines within the company. This is a critical role that requires a deep understanding of actuarial principles and a strong analytical mindset.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and document pricing bases for a wide range of products, including mortality, disability and critical illness.
  • Develop and enhance statistical models for use in the insurance industry, including mortality, morbidity, persistency, fraud, consumer response, etc.
  • Assist in developing and maintaining the infrastructure used to monitor emerging experience.
  • Provide subject matter expertise in the insurance application of predictive modelling and advanced data analytics.
  • Conduct technical actuarial research to support the Business Development team and the Pricing team.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • 4 years of Actuarial experience
  • Experience with large data sets; SQL, R, Python
