Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage litigation matters, conduct internal investigations, and liaise with external legal resources.
  • Represent clients or relevant parties in ensuring the efficient resolution of negotiations and disputes.

Legal Advisory Services:

  • Provide legal advice and guidance to retirement funds, trustees, administrators, and employers on compliance with relevant laws and regulations governing retirement funds.

Regulatory Compliance:

  • Ensure that retirement funds comply with all regulatory requirements imposed by the Pension Funds Act, the Financial Sector Conduct Authority (FSCA), and other relevant legislation.
  • Draft, review, and interpret legal documents such as trust deeds, rules, policies, contracts, and agreements related to retirement funds.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Bachelor of Laws (LLB)
  • Admitted Attorney
  • Masters in Law (LLM) would be an advantage
